Goliat is probably the world's largest and most advanced cylindrical oil production platform. It is specially designed and constructed to adapt to the long winter nights and icing hazards typical of the Barents Sea.
Goliats main deluge skid is 18-meter-long, 6-meter-high with a depth of 3 meters. It has an integrated 63 cubic meter foam tank, 10 zones and it weighs 111 tons in operation. All sea water components are made of titanium.
The deluge skid is an engineering master piece manufactured by Firenor AS in Kristiansand, Norway.
